Meticulous General Insurance Company Limited was featured on the cover page of the prestigious Insurance Journal of Africa
Meticulous General Insurance Company Limited was featured on the cover page of the prestigious Insurance Journal of Africa in its 2021 edition. The magazine went on to report on the recent shareholding changes the company had. Explaining the changes, the Company General Manager, Emile Brown said, “We were earlier known as Metropolitan General Insurance Company, which was part of the Momentum Metropolitan Group based out of South Africa. The Group had taken a strategic decision to divest its shareholding in the different countries in East and Southern Africa including Tanzania. “
“Following this, the local shareholders bought over the Momentum Metropolitan Group’s interest and the company was rebranded as Meticulous General Insurance Company Limited”, Emile added.
We were privileged to cover the front page of the most powerful and famous magazine of industry across East Africa. The magazine carried an extensive article seeking the opinions and views of the senior management including the CEO, Suresh Kumar.

What is so different and special about Meticulous General Insurance from other insurers?
Answer: We are very different from other insurers in the market because of its single-minded focus on the concept of learning and development. The company invests heavily in terms of money and time in assisting every employee in an organization to grow by learning and development. The company has a very young, dynamic enthusiastic team of insurance professionals who are constantly improving their knowledge so that they service our client’s needs in a more professional manner.
